snow, snow, snow, and.... more snow.

alright. so it's february, and my last blog was in december. 

whoops. 

january was actually a pretty exciting month:

cruise,

snow,

school,

more snow,

more snow,

more snow..

..........

..school.

who would've guessed that chattanooga would ever have this much snow in one month?! i mean, i would've bet on less snow in the entire year. 

i've never really loved the snow. 

snow has always meant spending ten minutes putting on ridiculous amounts of clothes, then going outside with my sister and playing until my nose had been frozen long enough that she'd let me go back inside. 

this year, when we got back from our cruise, it started snowing as we were pulling in our driveway. i wasn't too excited about it, especially after all that sunshine. but then some friends came up to go sledding....

the snow was actually a lot of fun this night! we were outside for hours. a few of us almost died a couple of times (gotta watch out for those mailboxes..), but it was a good night. when we came back to the house dad was breaking all the icicles off the porch. check this out:

then it snowed us out of school for a week.. which was exciting for about one day. after that, we all had some major cabin fever. i've never watched so much tv or played so much skip-bo in one week. school finally started though, and my classes are great. i actually like them all so far. but, unfortunately, our snow week caused some of our finals to be rescheduled for a saturday at the end of the year. and no more reading day for us.

i've heard that there may be more snow on the way....
